Allelic replacement frequency

Allelic replacement frequency (ARF) refers to the percent of recombinant, an organism that contains a different combination of alleles from the wild-type.

ARF is determined by counting the wild-type colonies and mutant colonies. Higher ARF means a higher population mutant colonies.
