Chemical reaction equations
Chemical reaction equations describe how one or more substances change their chemical composition to form new ones. Even though new substances form, atoms are not destroyed or created.
An example of a chemical reaction equation is 2 H2 + O2 → 2 H2O. This equation describes the reaction between hydrogen and oxygen to form water. Hydrogen and oxygen are reactants while water is the product.
