ChIP-exo adapters

Adapters are short, double-stranded DNA molecules used in ChIP-exo as primers for a subsequent amplification step. They will be attached to the ends of the target DNA using the dA tails as the point of anchoring. This reaction is carried out by a DNA ligase.
