The pedigree tree shows the potential children of two color blind parents.

Possible children from a colourblind father and mother. The father has an X chromosome with the colourblind gene and a Y chromosome. The mother has two X chromosomes with the colourblind gene. Two sons both have a colourblind X chromosome and a Y chromosome- there is a 100% probability that a son will be colourblind. Two daughters each inherit two colourblind X chromosomes. There is a 100% probability a daughter will be colourblind.
