Risk Factors in Type 2 Diabetes
Risk factors for type 2 diabetes can be very different and include family history, overweight, stress, lack of exercise, unhealthy eating, and increasing age. Experts also found that diabetes is more common in African Americans, Hispanics, Native Americans, and Native Hawaiians.
Additionally, type 2 diabetes can be hereditary. That doesn't mean that children will always inherit it from their parents if they have it, however, they will have higher chances of developing it.
