ELISA data analysis
The data analysis process of ELISA is a two steps process as follows:
1) Preparation and analysis of a set of known samples data/ standard. This series of known absorbance data, which represent the concentrations, is used to create a standard curve.
2) Preparation of the "unknown" samples data. For each measurement obtained, the standard curve is used to find the corresponding substance concentration.
3) Data analysis is performed using a bioinformatic tool such as Labware LIMS. It involves the calculation of a molar ratio of analyte in samples and controls. It’s not just a matter of looking at the curve results and saying yes or no. Data validation is performed to ensure the integrity of your results.
