EMT in cancer
Epithelial-Mesenchymal transtion (EMT) is one of the most important causes of cancer malignancy and it is related to cancer progression and metastasis (Figure 1).

In addition to the phenotypic changes triggered by EMT in cancer cells, EMT also confer these cells a way to avoid cell cycle regulation events such as apoptosis, anoikis, and cellular senescence.
