Gown
Gowns is a knee length overcoat to protect science professional from the contamination of clothing. It's fully covers the torso and arm. It also fits tightly around the wrists.
Front-buttoned standard laboratory coats are unsuitable, as are sleeves that do not fully cover the forearms.
Gowns must be autoclaved before they are removed from the BSL-3 laboratory.
