Hemophilia treatment

Factor IX (FIX) has been chosen as treatment for acute hemorrhage in patient with hemophilia B. Treatment of hemophilia B occurs by replacing the missing Factor IX (FIX) with recombinant FIX synthesized in cell lines such as Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cell lines.
