Neurotransmitters
A neurotransmitter is a chemical messenger released by nerve cells to transmit an impulse or send signals to another nerve, muscle, organ, or other tissue. A neurotransmitter is a messenger of neurologic information from one cell to another.
Some examples of neurotransmitters are acetylcholine, norepinephrine or dopamine.
