Pericardial Cavity

The pericardial cavity is found inside the thoracic cavity. It is a fluid-filled space that surrounds the heart. The heart is part of the cardiovascular system. The pericardial cavity occupies the region between the right and left lungs called the mediastinum.

This is located in the middle of the chest, and it contains the heart.
