Polymer

A polymer is a macromolecule composed of many repeated subunits (monomer). The monomers are joined to form a polymer chain or network through polymerization. The process of reacting monomeric molecules together in chemical or physical manner in order to form polymeric chains or three-dimensional networks is called polymerization.
