Polyphenols

Polyphenols are a structural class of mainly natural, but also synthetic or semisynthetic, organic chemicals characterized by the presence of large multiples of phenol structural units. Polyphenols are micronutrients that found abundantly in natural plant foods.

Polyphenols have an important role in preventing degenerative diseases such as cancer and cardiovascular diseases.

Cloves, cocoa powder, berries, plums, apples, beans, nuts, vegetables, soy, black tea, green tea, and red wine.
