Senzum

The Senzum is a fictional organism from the fictional exoplanet Astakos IV.

The Senzum was first spotted on the riverbanks of main waterways when the first human settlers were scouting for the best place to found the first colony on Astakos IV.

The Senzum has a characteristic green fruit, looking like beans from the Fabaceae on Earth. However, instead of growing underground or just above the ground, the Senzum fruit is usually present on top of a bush, not unlike a pineapple. This is probably a strategy for dissemination by attracting predators to eat and disperse some seeds.

The nutritional analysis of the Senzum fruit reveals a flesh that is easy to break down and digest, but also extremely rich in calories.
