Separation of inorganic compounds

The aim of this experiment is to use paper chromatography to separate a mixture of inorganic compounds containing two cations Pb²⁺ and Cd²⁺. Since the compounds are colorless a developer will be needed. The developer ammonium sulfide (NH₄)₂S will be used to locate the positions of the ions.
