Titanium dioxide

In biochemistry, we can exploit the affinity of titanium dioxide (TiO₂) to phosphate groups and use it to enrich phosphopeptides. By binding the phosphopeptides to TiO₂ beads, they can be separated from non-phosphorylated peptides.
