Visible waves spectrum

The visible part of the electromagnetic spectrum is commonly known as light. Light can be seen and sensed by the human eye, and this energy exists at a wide range of wavelengths. The range of visible electromagnetic waves consists of the narrow portion of the spectrum, from approximately 0.4 micrometers (blue) to 0.7 micrometers (red).
