Thermal Homeostasis: Apply thermoregulation to climate change

Welcome to the Thermal Homeostasis Simulation. In this simulation, you will help the International Climate Change Committee analyze the impact of warmer temperatures in the Arctic. Specifically, you will visit a friendly deer herd in Northern Canada to collect body temperature data of deer under different conditions. By conducting complimentary experiments using a metabolic chamber and Douglas Bag at different temperatures, you will explore the basic mechanisms of how mammals physiologically maintain a constant body temperature.
