Quasi-Elastic Neutron Scattering

Welcome to the Quasi-elastic neutron scattering simulation!

In this simulation you will learn to use a neutron beam produced by a spallation source to investigate the atomic structure and dynamics of a material or device. Neutron scattering has many applications in materials science ranging from biological systems over archeological artefacts to magnetic materials. But in this simulation you will measure the atomic changes that happen within a battery as it discharges.
